Yes, after 4 years on dA, I decided to leave. The idea of leaving crossed my mind several times, but I decided now is the time to really leave. It's not that I don't like dA anymore; it's been nice four years of admiring other people's art and presenting my photos and other works to the world. There are many nice and talented people here and I will always support dA, and although I'm abandoning it, I will still occasionally stop by to lurk and comment on people I'm devWatching, because you can always learn something from the others, get some advice and ideas, and pick up some tips&tricks.
So why am I leaving? Because I think it's time for a change. My interests have taken a new direction. I've emerged into analog photography and became more critical to my photos. So I've deleted everything and I don't think I'll be coming back; maybe I'll open another account because I never liked my nickname/url, I find it rather silly... Maybe I'll register at another art site, I don't know, but currently I'm working on my skills and will not be uploading anything anywhere until I'm satisfied with my work. I want to improve, to develop my specific taste, I want to find it through experimenting, I want to learn as much and I can and perhaps buy a new cam, work with other formats and such. Time will tell.
So, from now on, I'm just a lurker here, a spectator, an art appreciator.
And in the end, I want to thank all my devWatchers and those who faved and commented my work for support, it's greatly appreciated.
